Mrs Claire Marquis Roth of 529 Custis Road Glenside Philadelphia died yesterday She was the daughter of Mrs Ada B Marquis Park Heights LaVale and the late O. M. Marquis

Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband William A Roth a son Charles Malcolm Roth two daughters Suzanne M Roth and C Michelle Roth both at home three sisters Mrs John Durst, Oakland; Mrs. James B. Reinhart, this city, and Mrs. Ronald R. Bartholo, Buffalo, N.Y.

Memorial Services will be conducted in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 22 East Chestnut Hill, Avenue, Phi, Monday at 1 p.m.. Interment will be private.

The family requests memorials take the form of contributions to the St. Paul's Episcopal Church Youth Fund, Day Care Association of Montgomery County, PA, or the American Oncologic Hospital, Phila.

Mr. Scholl was graduated from Roosevelt High School, Washington, and Felix Mahoney's School of Fine and Applied Arts, and is employed with Fries, Beall & Sharp Company, Washington.

LAFAYETTE CLUB HAS DANCE AT QUEEN CITY
Brilliant Christmas Affair Attracts More Than One Hundred Couples

More than one hundred couples, including a number from out-of-town, attended the Christmas Dance of the Lafayette Club at the Queen City Hotel Friday night. The affair was the first large holiday function of the season. Music for the dance was furnished by the Society Ramblers.

Members of the committee in charge were Louis H. Cross, Elmer E. Welsh, Martin G. Walters and Martin L. Johnson.

The club will also entertain Thursday night at the hotel with a New Year's Eve hall from 10 until 2 o'clock. A noted broadcasting orchestra from Philadelphia has been engaged.
